Collection: Repent - T-Shirts

2 Pet. 3:9 "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance."

2 Tim. 2:25 "with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,"

The Lord has commissioned us to preach the gospel to the lost and call all people everywhere to repent. We preach with the hope they will accept the sacrifice Jesus made for them and take their place in the Kingdom of God with the rest of us. It’s what they were created and designed for.

Their response to our efforts may not be immediate and may require follow-up by others. But it is God’s will that none should perish. And sometimes, unless you’re specifically gifted as an evangelist, opening conversations with others about the need for repentance can be intimidating. That’s where the design of this set of Christian Hoodies comes in.

Here’s an often-overlooked fact. The scripture says that during God’s judgment of those on this earth, shown through the seven seals, one of the seals unleashes the rider of the pale horse. His name is death, and hades followed him. He is given to kill one fourth of the world’s population. One of those ways is by using the “the wild beasts of the earth.” True … people are killed every year by wild beasts yet this scripture is indicating that on a much grander scale than we see today.

It is appropriate for the beasts that may be given the task of killing God’s enemies to be ones to call them to repentance. Let God’s creations speak first, and you can be there to follow up if the opportunity arises. The hope is your Hoodie will generate a response from those who see it, giving you a chance to share the good news. God’s desire for people to repent is not just to keep them from hell. It’s to give them a path to having a relationship with the designer and lover of their soul. And who knows, perhaps after seeing your Hoodie they may remember it next time they see a wild beast. It’s an attempt to plant a seed that will keep coming up over and over again.
