Repent - Polar Bear

Polar Bear:

Unpredictable, intimidating and terrifying are just a few words that can describe a polar bear. And nothing is more frightening than coming face to face with one in the wilds. When it roars, we assume bad things are about to happen. We don’t really know what it’s saying and few are brave enough to wait around and find out. But what if it were calling for repentance (which one should do … and quickly if it actually attacks)?

Yet even the Polar Bear is one of God’s creations. And God provides for it as He does for all of His creation. There are scriptures which say the animals cry out to God for their food and He provides for them as they need.

Job 38:41 "Who prepares for the raven its nourishment when its young cry to God and wander about without food?"

Psa. 148:10-13 “Animals and all cattle; Crawling things and winged fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Rulers and all judges of the earth; Both young men and virgins; Old men and children. They are to praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven.”

Psa. 150:6 “Everything that has breath shall praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”

Perhaps the polar bear will be one of the beasts of the field which will be tasked with helping kill one fourth of the earth’s population as spoken of in Rev. 6:8. It has the equipment to do so and its one of the animals that will actively hunt men if given the opportunity. You can actually find them rummaging through dumps for scrapes. One day they may get tired of settling for the scrapes. It would be appropriate for polar bears to call men to repentance before it gets down to it gruesome business.
