ThyKC - ThyWBD: Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done.

“What does ThyKC or ThyWBD mean?”

For those who are looking for the coming of our returning Lord, we know it means “Thy Kingdom Come” and “Thy Will Be Done.” This is part of a prayer we pray all the time. We want Him to return ASAP. The way this world is going, nothing can stop its downhill race into total chaos except His returns and sets up His kingdom here on the earth.

When He comes, He will set up His kingdom and rightfully take His place to rule over the nations. The Lord’s reign will be marked by real justice and truth. With Him in charge we won’t have to worry about the issues that produce the fear and anxiety we experience today. We will have a government that can be trusted and relied upon to do what is right. This is what we are asking for when we pray, “Thy Kingdom Come.” This Christian sweat-shirt is also a reminder for us to never stop praying for His return.

2 Peter 3:11-12 “Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, …!”

We can become participants in the fulfillment by praying for it in an effort to “hasten” its arrival. But until it does, we can ask that His kingdom come and His will would be done in our lives and the lives of those we meet. Look around and ask yourself, “How many people do I see that do not need God’s intervention or His will to be done in their life?” I promise, you will not find many. That means there are lots of people you can pray for; asking God that His kingdom would come, and His will be done in their lives.
