Isa. 30:18a “Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.”

It is for this willingness to submit to Him and do things His way that He waits for.

He says that if “My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place." 2 Chr. 7:14-15
