Redemption

When our rebellion took place, we became guilty of treason. And justice demands we pay the penalty for that treason. That penalty is death. But Jesus paid that penalty by dying in our place, paying the price by taking on the consequences we deserved for our rebellion and betrayal of God.

Because the price has now been paid, we stand no longer guilty because Jesus took our guilt upon Himself. Justice has now been served.

It is the price of His life through which we are now redeemed or restored back to God. God traded the life of His own Son for ours. This is what the kingdom offers and produces. A people redeemed from their guilt and consequences of their betraying God.

Luke 12:32 “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
