Wolf:

An iconic animal with a distinctive call. Sometimes creating fear in the heart of those who hear it. While it could be communicating with the rest of its pack, it can also be lifting up its voice in praise and supplication to its creator who supplies it with what it needs to survive.

Scriptures reveal that the creation praises God. Is it possible that they also give a call to repent? This design is meant to put it in the minds of people that God’s creation itself calls for repentance. In Rev. there is reference to an eagle who flies declaring coming judgment upon the earth because of man’s rejection of Christ.

Rev. 8:13 “Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"

Psa. 148:10-13 “Animals and all cattle; crawling things and winged fowl; … They are to praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven.”

Psa. 150:6 “Everything that has breath shall praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”

There are also scriptures which say the animals cry out to God for their food and He provides for them as they need. So somehow, they communicate with their creator.

Job 38:41 "Who prepares for the raven its nourishment when its young cry to God and wander about without food?”

You may see a wolf in the wild, but where the is one there are usually many more as they travel in packs. They are incredibly efficient hunters with amazing endurance. They don’t give up when they are tracking something or someone. Who knows, perhaps the wolf will be one of the beasts of the field which will be tasked with helping kill one fourth of the earth’s population as spoken of in Rev. 6:8. It would be appropriate for wolves to call men to repentance before they get down to their gruesome business.
