Everybody knows what a gorilla is. They are very intelligent, capable of using tools and make 25 different sounds to communicate amongst themselves. What’s more is they are able to learn sign language and can have a rudimentary conversation with their keepers, even speaking of past events they remember.

But the important thing is that all of creation praises God in its own way. Is it possible they also can give a call to repent? That’s the context of this T-shirt.

Psa. 148:10-13 “Animals and all cattle; crawling things and winged fowl; … They are to praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven.”

Psa. 150:6 “Everything that has breath shall praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!”

There are also scriptures which say the animals cry out to God for their food and He provides for them as they need. So somehow, they communicate with their creator.

Job 38:41 "Who prepares for the raven its nourishment when its young cry to God and wander about without food?”

Who knows, perhaps the gorilla will be one of the beasts of the field which will be tasked with helping kill one fourth of the earth’s population as spoken of in Rev. 6:8. Their easy-going gentle demeanor can change when the need or the call arises. That’s when we would truly see their amazing strength really show itself. It would be appropriate for seals to call men to repentance before the gorilla gets down to it gruesome business.
