Hope:

The Greek word for Hope is elpizō; pronounced “el-pid-zo.”

Hope in these days is an important and often elusive thing. This world offers very little that would instill hope in someone’s heart. In fact, it seems everything going on is specifically driving hope away. But God always has hope and then to spare. The truth is He is our only hope. He offers a real hope, one that sustains through the darkest time while we travel through this life waiting for His return.

One only has to look at the statistics for suicide to see how many have lost all hope. When there is no hope what then is the purpose of life. But as long as God has put breath in our lungs and a beat in our heart there is hope. And He wants everyone to know there is no one who is beyond hope. There is no one who cannot receive the hope we have in Jesus Christ, who is our hope.

Jer. 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

Rom_15:13 “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
