God Never Says - You ... Again?

One problem we can face is the thought that we are bothering God too often. I don’t know how many times I’ve come to Him with the same thing on my mind. It may be some trial or it may be some reoccurring sin. My perception is often clouded with the discouragement of coming to Him again and again and again about the same thing. It’s can be discouraging and depressing.

But that’s how we look at it. That’s not how God does. He welcomes us every time we come, even if it’s about the same thing over and over again. He never gets tired of hearing us. And He has made promises that He will accept us if we come to Him in truth. Not only does He want us to come to Him, He promises solutions.

You can never tire God out by pestering Him, in fact Jesus told a story to encourage us to continue coming to Him until we get the answers we need.

In Luke 18:1-8 Jesus tells a parable to stress the need to continuously come to God in prayer and not give up. He stresses that God will answer if we are steadfast in that effort. Even David mentions this.

Psalm 55:16 “As for me, I shall call upon God, And the LORD will save me. Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and moan, And He will hear my voice.”

Do you have the faith to continue to seek God for answers and not lose heart? Remember, God will never get tired of you and desires for you to seek Him continually.
