Collection: Grace and Peace - Mugs

Our heavenly Father extends His grace to everyone who desires it. But we all know that it is accessible to us only through Jesus Christ. We know from scripture that God wants everyone to repent and come to the knowledge of the truth and to be reconciled to Him. Part of that truth is to know that God has a plan for everyone who comes to him. But even though He has a plan for everyone, only those who come to Him will ever realize it in their life and experiences.

His desire is to draw us to Himself as His sons and daughters and to experience all that comes with being part of His family. That’s why “Grace to you” can apply to every person you meet. It’s something God wants everyone to experience. His grace is offered and available to whomever would come to God through Jesus Christ to receive it.

Jer. 29:11-13 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”

Within that grace He offers peace. There is a war going on. One that has waged since God created man and placed him on this earth. It’s a war between man and God. But God is not at war with man, man is at war with God. There is peace in place for any who wants to stop fighting. Peace is a result that comes through freedom from war. As war paints a picture of conflict and countless calamities and dangers, peace paints an opposite picture. Peace reveals the idea of unity, safety, and prosperity.

What God is offering by making peace available is freedom. That freedom in peace with God comes through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:17-18 “And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.”

This grace and peace are from both God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is not running interference for us by trying to keep us out of the hands of an angry God. No. It was the Father Himself who sent His Son to arrange so His grace and peace could be available to whomever would accept it.

Luke 12:32 “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

Matt. 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
